Finance Manager

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire financial process, from budgeting to accounting and financial reporting. This role involves close collaboration with the internal controller and the external accountant to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the group company, TDK. The Finance Manager is also tasked with optimizing and automating accounting and reporting workflows, maintaining a hands-on approach to drive efficiency and compliance.     

Responsibilities

  • Develop and monitor budgets, cost centers, and forecasts in close cooperation with the CEO.
  • Perform monthly calculations and reporting of Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and balance sheets, both internally and to the group company, TDK.
  • Optimize accounting and reporting processes in collaboration with the internal IT and production departments.
  • Establish and manage supply chains in cooperation with the production department, including the follow-up of purchase orders (POs) and invoices.
  • Financially manage subsidized projects and oversee their financial audits.
  • Assist with internal project management and controlling for project accounting.
  • Collaborate with the group company (Germany and Japan) on compliance matters, e.g. audits, ESG, Pillar 2
  • Work closely with the internal controller and the external accountant.
  • Support management in all financial and compliance matters, proactively formulating solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement across all domains through automation and efficiency enhancements.

Competences

  • You have a master’s degree in applied economics sciences or business engineering or related.
  • You have at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • You are IT minded and MS Excel has no secrets for you
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, is essential
  • Experience with Power BI is highly desirable
  • You are punctual, a born analyst and you dare to take ownership
  • You can quickly understand a company’s business
  • You are continuously looking for ways to improve efficiency
  • You have a positive attitude and have strong communication skills, including proficiency in English
